Phantom of the Opera Canvas, created for That Craft Place Design Team Music Challenge

I started by Stamping the music score onto some existing script paper and then applied to the paper mache mask in stripes with wet glue

Coloured the mask with distress inks, Old paper, walnut stain and Black Soot
Cut the filigree scroll detail and used Stampendous embossing enamels added Tim Holtz mini gears and gems

Then arranged the layout with more die cuts to be enamelled and Creative Expressions Keys and Tim Holtz Keyhole embellishments

Applied more music score and torn paper 9’’ x 12’’ Canvas, and then used black Gesso, black acrylic and yellow iron oxide wash

Added Moulding paste though a Prima Stencil and dry brushed with black acrylic and then applied Viva Inka Gold

Finished, with a flickering candle behind the eye to add to the atmospherics!

  8. Fantastically dramatic canvas, Jools - what a brilliant creation.

Following on from the above - at the moment you've got the Google+ Followers going, but not the Google Friend Connect. I'm not a Google+-er, so would love to follow the other way, if it still exists. Should be possible to add it as a Gadget in the Layout part of your Blogger set-up...
