Stampotique Vintage
I decided to put together a Stanpotique Vintage Photo Album
This one was made up of pictures taken at a Family Garden Party back in 1896 One hundred years before the Stampotique Company started
It shows many of the ancestors of the family we know and love today
Great Aunt Moth Fab, Prudence Prom Queen and beloved Aunt Mothloved and their niece and nephew Mary & Eric and baby Smile
I stamped then in Stazon Timber Brown and the used Distress Ink, Walnut stain mixed with water and painted the images
The Background was dabbed in the Walnut stain & Old paper and splattered with the same colours
The edges were distressed with Walnut and Black Soot and finished with DecoArt one step

Sensational, Jools - consider me spellbound... Your portrait gallery is utterly stunning. Love how each portrait has such depth created in the inking, and then the matting of the "photos" is brilliantly done for that grungy vintage look. I'm completely in love with this!

ReplyDeleteOh wow Jools, your creativity never ceases to amaze me, what an incredible piece!!!! I've never been a huge fan of these Stampoteque characters, but you have brought them to live for me, wow, they look amazing in their vintage versions, - so much depth in the inking and I love the photo corners you have added to them etc etc, pure genius!!!
