Clarity Stamps Anything Goes

First time using the Groovi Boards, and I love them! more info here

I used the Carp fish nest and just used the outlines, the bubbles used the circle from the Groovi Plate Mate and the Seaweed lines from Groovi border 1 & 2

Once I was happy with the outlines, I coloured with watercolours

The 6" x 6" Clarity Canvas was coloured with Distress Inks, using the Clarity Seaweed Stencil Darker on one side, the overall look was softened with a baby wipe

Peacock feathers
Broken China
Weathers wood
Pumice stone
Iced spruce
Faded jeans
Walnut stain
Rusty hinge

I tore the edges of the parchment and used a distressing tool and applied to the canvas with tape at the back, need to do a bit more experimenting before applying glue!

The background was created using stewed teabags and splatting them on a piece of card
Great fun!
Then stamped purple acrylic using cookie cutters and then stitched cling film over the top

Stitch was stamped with Stazon Royal Purple, coloured with promakers
Her skirt was made from empty teabags stamped with purple acrylic again with a garlic grater!

Stamped Old Time Frog twice, cut the frog out and coloured separately
attached the chain with brads to the wheels and then attached froggy who was coloured with Promarkers

DecoArt Seascape Canvas

I love Texture and earth tone colours and was keen to use this palette after producing much more colourful projects of late
I applied a variety of paper to a 24'' x 24'' canvas with DecoArt Media Matt Medium Tissue paper, music score, brown paper and random printed card stock and placed mainly in the landscape orientation

Applied Media Crackle paste with a palette knife randomly and allowed to dry for a couple of hours
I started applying the darker colours randomly lower down the canvas for the foreground landscape
Applying in horizontal brush strokes, texturing with Comb Tools
Building colour and wiping back in some areas to lighten and expose the papers and textures

With the lighter colours tones Paynes Grey and Titanium White for the sky

Colours used DecoArt Media Fluid Acylics Titanium white, Quinacridone Gold, Burnt Umber, Phaplthlo Turquoise, and Paynes Grey

The paper was made from brown packaging paper with washes of DecoArt Cobalt Teal Blue and Dioxadine Purple, whist wet I scrunched it up
Once dry stamped Daniels Hearts using Stazon Royal Purple

Stamped Crafter onto a piece of card that had the same colour washes and distressed with Dusty Concord, Chipped Saphire and Shaded Lilac and used a distressing tool on the edges and ripped and curled finished highlighting the edges with DecoArt Metallic Gold and painted a heart and the golden ribbon cutting scissors!
