My latest DT piece for That Craft Place Challenge- Halloween

Take part 27th  October

Danse Macabre

I had a tri fold wooden icon, so it was begging to be a tombstone

I used the Dancing Skeletons digi stamps and verse from the from Charles Baudelaire's Danse Macabre poem all from Smeared Ink .

The beautiful tombstones are from Delicious Doodles

I set them on to a distress wood effect background and applied to the wood base which was painted with black acrylic. The edges were given texture with modelling paste and distressed with ink

Tando cobwebs and a skull were painted black and all detailed with Decoart black shimmer and treasure gold aquamarine to decorate

  1. Wow Jools, another totally amazing project!! Those skeletons are unbelievable! Wow, Dance macabre indeed! The whole project looks incredible!

  2. Such a cool piece Jools, very spooky but great fun. I love all the effects you have achieved and the fabulous imagery.
