Alliums Canvas

Following the fabulous workshop with Tracy Verdugo, I was keen to use the techniques and work with some of my favourite colours and flowers

The base layer used DecoArt Media Acyrlic Paynes Grey applied as random patterns using a variety of texture tools
Followed by applying Diozadine Purple, Quinacridone Magenta and Cadmium Orange Acrylic paint with a brush and then spritzing with water
Applied acrylic Cobalt Teal Hue randomly to areas and whilst wet applied Diluted Dioxadine Purple and Quinacridone Magenta and FW Flame Orange and Turquoise Ink and allowed to drip

I created halos for the flower heads using FW Pearlescent Moon Violet and Birdwing Copper Ink
Applied Titanium White with a sponge stippler, finger tip and skewer to form the flower heads
These were coloured with DecoArt Media Misters Violet, Purple and Orange, softened by wiping back and dabbing with a baby wipe

  5. As I said on G+, Stunning! Can't get over it, mesmerising. The colours (I SO NEED decoArt paint) are truly vibrant & full of energy from your application. I thought the flowers were from a stamp, had no idea till reading your tutorial. They are absolutely brilliant! You really are so talented, every time I see one of your posts recently, I either gasp a little or say "wow!"
