Stampotique Early Halloween

Bats in the Belfry
This weeks challenge is Early Halloween which is fine by me!
I've been waiting for this little bat stamp to arrive for about 4 months, he didn't arrive when he should have but he turned up early for Halloween!!

I remembered this very spooky picture that was taken  in Lynton, North Devon and thought the Owl Tree and Batty would look perfect against the dramatic sky
I stamped them both with Stazon and colour with Promarkers

  1. Wow. This is astoundingly and hauntingly beautiful. I absolutely love this! You were right that they look perfect against that dramatic sky.

Thanks for playing along with us at Stampotique Designers Challenges!

  2. I don't know if my comment went through, so I'll just comment again.

I love everything about this and agree that Batty and the Owl Tee are perfect with that spooky photo.

Thank you for playing along with us at Stampotique Designers Challenges.

  3. Love that picture of the tower - wow. But I have to admit - your bat made me giggle a bit. I don't know why but I never pictured in my mind a bat on a tree with an owl. Of course, it must happen - makes perfect sense! This is just great Jools. The owls and bat look perfect above the old tower. I bet there is a cemetery close by!!!!!!!!!!!! I really like this kind of creepy. Have a happy weekend. j.

  4. Spookily fabulous - the bat, the owls and the wonderful light breaking through the clouds - it's fantastic!

  5. Wonderfully spooky and mysterious, Jools! I love the spotlight of the tree and its occupants by the moon.

  6. I just want to ditto every thing Alison said, Julie said, Samantha said and Georgina said. Now I am just going to have to have this stamp. Because of your wonderful makes, I ordered some of the stamps and I am waiting, waiting and waiting to get them. Today's card is perfection of a dark and spooky night. I don't know how you did it!!! This really should be framed and hung on just the right wall space.

  7. I want a tutorial - I would just about do anything for a tutorial!!!!!

  8. I sure wish I could do this but my computer hates me!!

  9. what a great idea to use such a fabulous pic and spook it up with the owl tree and bat. Perfect placement too drawing the eye to that wonderful beam of light in the night sky . x
