Meadow Flowers Sewn
Coby's Stitches Challenges
I love sewing but don't find the time to do it, so this was a great opportunity to play with fabric and Stitches
I love sewing but don't find the time to do it, so this was a great opportunity to play with fabric and Stitches
I
stamped Stampotique Dwindled with Stazon black, I found the best fabric was a
quite heavy tight woven cotton also tried a satin but the ink bled too much
The meadow was made up of the Stampotique flowers
Daisy Daisy
Spidergrass
Dandelion
Jo's Flower Cube using Black
Stazon
Then coloured with DecoArt So Soft Fabric paints, blending as you would watercolour
Green
Apple
Indian
Turquoise
Tangerine
I
embroidered the flower centres with a satin stitch and played with a variety of different stitches
Loved working on this project! :)
Jools your fabric art is just awesome. What a great idea if you love fabric then playing this way gives you an option to get out the fabrics. I'm a fabric liver as well. And will consider the options in your project. Thanks a lot for sharing. Love your colors and the stamp...
