Stampotique Creepy or Scary

Its my favourite time of year and so perfect for Stampotique! so its time to make something Creepy Or Scary!

I looked to That Craft Place again for a unique MDF piece and Danny produced a bespoke size and extra tree! check them out here

Applied DecoArt Modelling Paste to the trees with a palette knife texturizing

Applied DecoArt Texture Sand to the Tombstone element

Applied DecoArt Crackle Paste to the house and allowed to dry for 2 hours
I then assembled with superglue

Start to apply DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics Dark Grey and Carbon Black

Lighter at the top blending the black at the base and on the trees

Wiping back some of the colour on the house to reveal the texture

Dry brushed with Dark Grey and Medium Grey

Embossed acetate for the apertures and coloured with Alcohol inks, cut to size and glued in place
behind each of these apertures I fixed a fairy light to illuminate

This week brings us a new challenge "Anything but a Card" more details here
You can create just about anything this week, except a card. Let's see tags, books, boxes or
anything else.

I had a beautiful wooden star and decided to just stamp in black so the wood grain was still visible

Stampotique Inchies Challenge

This weeks challenge theme is "Inches"
What are inchies? They are little 1"x1" pieces of work. You can create your submission with just one inchie or you can create a bunch of inchies and add them to a project.
Our design team has some great samples below, be sure to check them out!! We love seeing what you create so come and join us for this fun challenge.

I decided to make a Heads, Body and Legs Game using 1'' Stampbord tiles, it was quite tricky to stamp and took lots of attempts!
I applied tape to the back of 3 tiles and stamped each character I used Smile, Marci and Wilber and Splatter Blob and coloured with Watercolours
